My name’s Odilon Marcenaro, I’m a middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income Italo/Dutch expat who has made the beautiful country of Wales his home. I.m a lecturer in Music Technology at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and a free-lance sound engineer and producer…..I have a particular interest in location recording, as well as in physical computing – especially when it means that I can take an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi and actually make it do something musically useful.
I am an expert in most forms of sound synthesis, having been lucky enough to study with the peerless Ernst Bonis in the Netherlands. I am the very fortunate owner of a beautiful vintage EMS Synthi AKS, and also have a VCS3 in my care.
I’m also known as Mooseman, under which name I repair and restore vintage toy steam engines, see http://mooseman.org.uk/
